Maureen Grace was born and raised in Southern
California. She attended the University of Arizona
where she received a Bachelor's degree in History. She worked in San Francisco for three
years following graduation, married and moved to the East Coast where her two
children were born.
Maureen was intrigued with the different style of architecture on the
East Coast and the interior decor that was a contrast to what she had
grown up with. A serious interest in interior design developed and she
attended Parsons School of Design in New York where she received her certification
in interior design.
In 1983 Maureen established M Grace Interiors in Far Hills, NJ and was
awarded a wide range of projects including homes throughout Somerset,
Hunterdon, Morris Counties in New Jersey
and Manhattan, New York. Her commercial works included a
restaurant in Manhattan, a personnel agency in NJ,
and several law and small business offices in New Jersey.
In addition, her clients have hired her to design their
various vacation homes. These include ski lodges in Vermont
and waterfront homes in Kiawah and Hilton Head, South Carolina, Lake Toxaway, North Carolina and Northeast Harbor, Maine.
In 2005 M Grace Interiors relocated to Brookline, Ma where Maureen will continue to work
on both residential and small business interiors. She brings over 20 years of
experience and a creative enthusiasm for each project that makes the design
process enjoyable for the client and unique for the home or office.
Since coming to Brookline,
Maureen has become a member of the International Furnishings and Designers
Association, The Fenway II Chapter of BNI and an active member of Boston Cares.
